Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Dupe?

Clinique Dupe

I’ve been a big fan of Clinique’s skincare range for a while now, in fact most of my daily routine involves Clinique. However when I recently ran out of my morning moisturiser, Clinique’s Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, I decided to broaden my horizons and check out the Body Shop, which I’ve had substantial success in the past when it comes to their skincare range.

Get Ready With Me: Birthday Pizza and Games Night

Birthday Makeup

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22. Ha! Sorry, I had to go there- I couldn’t resist. So it was my birthday last week and to celebrate I hosted a pizza and games night for my friends where we just played board games and enjoyed each other’s pleasant company. Whilst hosting the event was fun, getting ready was equally so! This is how I got myself ready for a relaxing evening surrounded by some of my favourite people in my life. Continue reading

A Bite of MAC

MAC

For some reason it took me a very long time to purchase my first MAC product. Maybe it was because I always felt overwhelmed walking into the store or slightly intimidated by the high regard that the brand has within the beauty community. Reasons aside, I overcame my inhibitions and purchased my first two MAC products – and boy was I excited to pop my MAC cherry! Continue reading

Review: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette

Oh my love. When I laid eyes on this palette I literally had to snap myself back to reality. The colours. The packaging. Oh it’s my new baby and I (shamefully) sometimes take it out of my makeup draw just to look at it. Continue reading

Haul: The Body Shop (UK Edition)

The Body Shop Haul

The Body Shop is a much loved store to me. It consistently provides quality and affordable products, which are also gentle on the environment and in support of worthy causes. I recently evidenced my level of appreciation for the Body Shop when I went a little crazy in London, purchasing a substantial amount of products to fill my already bursting suitcase! Charlotte Tilbury: Modern and Intense

Charlotte Tilbury

I’ve been on the hunt for a luxury lipstick that I can wear during the day, and after hearing many of my favourite beauty bloggers talk about the new Matte Revolution Lipsticks from Charlotte Tilbury I needed to give it a try. Continue reading

Oh Glory! Soap & Glory Haul

Soap and Glory 1

Whilst in the UK recently, I was on the hunt for a particular brand that, although it is available in Australia we don’t tend to get the whole range. You may have guessed that I was hunting down Soap & Glory. After seeing many bloggers talk about their favourite products from the brand I was desperate to get my hands on a few top picks, and when I went into Boots in London I was pleasantly surprised to see a 3 for 2 offer that I couldn’t refuse! New love: Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne 1

Oh Jo Malone! What an image of luxury and sophistication the name evokes!

On my recent travels I passed a few Jo Malone stores, but – alas – forlornly, I passed by without peeing into that wonderful world of well mastered fragrances. Until! Whilst waiting at the Dublin International Airport for our flight home I spotted a Jo Malone store and couldn’t resist a final peek. Oh what wonders awaited me! Continue reading

KIKO: A Sampler

Kiko Sample 1

During my recent trip to Italy, I had the opportunity to waltz into a KIKO store. I admit that I was slightly overwhelmed when walking in as the store was absolutely packed! But after hearing about the gems that could be found there at budget prices, I persevered  through the crowds and found a few items as a sampler of what the brand could offer. Continue reading
